Officially announced at San Diego Comic-Con in conjunction with Deadline, Buffy the Vampire Slayer herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, has signed on to headline the Paramount+ series Wolf Pack, a spin-off of MTV’s Teen Wolf.
Joining Teen Wolf: The Movie creator Jeff Davis along with actors Tyler Posey and Tyler Hoechlin, Gellar surprised audiences at San Diego Comic-Con by crashing the Teen Wolf panel. Gellar will also serve as executive producer of Wolf Pack, which is based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom. She will play arson investigator Kristin Ramsey, a highly regarded expert in her field dealing with a personal tragedy. Her character is brought in by local authorities to catch a teen arsonist after a massive wildfire rampages through Los Angeles, reawakening a supernatural predator.
The series is currently in production and is slated for release in 2022.
