GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics, now in it’s 17th year, has announced it’s frontrunners for the 2026 Dorian Television Awards. The international organization is comprised of one of the largest groups of entertainment journalists in the world, with a membership of over 500 members, and regularly celebrates queer-themed projects across film, television, and stage.

In no surprise to anyone, Crave and HBO Max’s pop culture juggernaut, Heated Rivalry, is in the running with seven major nominations, including Best TV Drama, Best Written TV Show, and acting nods for stars Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie, and Francois Arnaud.

Another HBO Max favorite, Hacks, which just concluded it’s marvelous fifth and final season, scored nominations for Best TV Comedy, a Best TV Performance in Comedy for Jean Smart, and Best Supporting TV Performance in Comedy for Hannah Einbinder, Paul W. Downs, and internet phenom-turned actress Meg Stalter.

The hit HBO Max medical drama The Pitt returns with multiple nominations as well for it’s second season. Cast members Noah Wyle, Isa Briones, Patrick Ball, Sepidah Moafi and Katherine LaNasa all scored acting nominations. The series itself is nominated for Best TV Drama (which it won last year) and Best Written TV Show.

Other first-time nominees include Peacock’s nail-biting limited series All Her Fault with Sarah Snook, Dan Levy’s Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery documentary, and Alien: Earth, which stars Sydney Chandler and Timothy Olyphant.

A complete list of nominees is listed below. Winners will be announced Saturday, August 15th, 2026.
