If you were a comic book fan in the early ’90s, chances are you owned a lot of trading cards. However, the one set that became an instant classic and is still treasured decades later, is the inaugural X-Men set created by legendary artist Jim Lee. Released in 1992, the deck included 105 cards, all illustrated by Lee, with detailed character bios and pieces of trivia included on the backsides. Hot on the heels of the revival news of the X-Men animated series, Marvel is celebrating more nostalgia by compiling all of the cards into a new hardcover art book to be released this summer called The Uncanny X-Men Trading Cards: The Complete Set.

The book will include the front and back of each card, as well as previously unreleased sketches and digitally remastered art. Interviews with some of Marvel’s staff throughout the years who helped assemble the project will be featured as well. The book is set to be released on July 5th, with pre-orders open now. The book’s cover image is available below.
