Marvels Voices, a special anthology series featuring diverse characters from across the Marvel Comics universe, has debuted it’s variant cover for the upcoming June issue of Marvels Voices: Pride in celebration of Pride Month. The cover highlights the LGBTQ+ Marvel characters, including a new queer character who has yet to be announced. The variant cover is illustrated by famed comic book artist Luciano Vecchio, who designed the cover in “frame” style. This style pays homage to the comics of the mid-80s that celebrated Marvel Comic’s 25th anniversary.
Marvels Voices: Pride will feature the work of LGBTQ+ creators and illustrators, such as Steve Orlando, Anthony Olivera, Allan Heinberg, Mariko Tamaki, and Jim Cheung. The issue will tell the stories of of Marvel’s LGBTQ+ characters, including America Chavez, Black Cat, Daken, Moondragon, Northstar, Karma, Mystique, Iceman, Valkyrie, and Wiccan & Hulking.
