Get ready to join the Power of Three for a time warp to the 80s! Charmed is apparently following in the footsteps of it’s supernatural sister series Buffy the Vampire Slayer by launching an all-new story via a children’s book. Insight Kids is set to publish a Charmed illustrated storybook this fall that features an original childhood adventure centering around Prue, Piper, and Phoebe. The preliminary title information given details that the book will be 40 pages long and appropriate for readers 6 years and up.
The synopsis is listed as the following:
“Prue, Piper, and Phoebe were the first sisters to be called the Charmed Ones, the most powerful witches the world has ever known. But before they were charmed, they were just three little girls living with their Grams, and no idea of the power within them. When their constant bickering threatens the future unity of the Charmed Ones, their magic awakens to send the three young witches on an adventure that could change their destiny forever.”
The book will be written by Paul Ruditis, who previously worked on the Charmed comic book series that picked up where the original series left off. Illustrations will be provided by Ria Maria Lee. Ruditis exclusively released a glimpse of the cover via his Twitter page, which can be seen below. The title is currently available for pre-order on Amazon and scheduled to be released on September 6, 2022–just in time for Halloween!
